Il saggio (lungo) su Foreign Affairs è di Tamar Jacoby, Senior Fellow del Manhattan Institute e autrice di " Reinventing the Melting Pot: The New Immigrants and What It Means to Be American ".

Per lei, tesa a dimostrare l'innocuità dell'immigrazione, è una buona notizia; a noi invece ricorda molto la storia degli attentati a Londra e delle rivolte nelle banlieues parigine, oltre che quello che ci aspetta a breve, da Torino a Padova passando per Brescia. Stessa storia, non causalmente.
7) Il problema non è l'immigrazione, è la discriminazione e la povertà
Concludiamo la rassegna con la più banale delle affermazioni, prodotta da studentello con (saccente) accento toscano durante la citata conferenzina d'Alemiana da cui siamo partiti.
Senza scomodare il tonfo del modello multiculturale Europeo-Nordico (un solo dato: i matrimoni combinati sono percentualmente più alti tra i pakistani del Londonistan che non nel Pakistan stesso!), la risposta a questo studentello nel punto (3). Cioè sino a quando avremo immigrati-schiavi per sostenere produzioni e attività NON a valore aggiunto, aggressivamente competitive con quelle dei Paesi in via di Sviluppo, di fatto incrementeremo il divario e la loro povertà, creando le condizioni per espellere da quei Paesi le forze più vitali e motivate. Un cane che si morde la coda, una spirale perversa che va finalmente spezzata con decisione.
Persino Baffino comunque non ha resistito, e alla fine è sbottato; sempre citando a memoria: "Ma quando la finiremo di darci tutte le colpe, noi Occidentali?".

In conclusione, l'immigrazione si dimostra:
a) tatticamente utile per i Paesi d'origine: come faceva l'Italia dell'Ottocento, si liberano di giovani irrequieti potenzialmente sovversivi;
b) tatticamente e strategicamente dirompente per i Paesi di destinazione, dove apre problemi enormi senza risolvere quelli cui l'immigrazione apparentemente darebbe soluzione;
c) terribilmente dannosa per le prospettive di sviluppo degli stessi Paesi di origine,
d) devastante per le classi più povere ed emarginate dei Paesi che li accolgono.
Per non dire l'indicibile: l'immigrazione è molto funzionale alle sinistre, perchè distrugge il "nazionalismo" e l'individualismo, e perchè è più facile dominare i miseri e quelli che non capiscono bene la lingua.
In estrema sintesi, la soluzione è letteralmente "a portata di mano": come titolava poco tempo fa l'insigne gemello , " figli, non pugnette ".
